If I were you, I’d ready my tissue. You’ll need one after you burst into tears as you watch this father’s heartfelt message to the newly-wed couple.
The internet was left weeping after a Taiwanese father read the message he prepared for his son-in-law. And even though he finds it difficult to read, the man tried his best for his beloved daughter’s special occasion.
The father sat in front of the couple and started his speech with, “The first one to embrace her was me. The first one to kiss her was me. The first one to care for her was me.”
Eventually, tears started falling from his eyes. He continued, “Still, I hope you will be the one who accompanies her for life.” Who’s cutting the onion? Seriously!
Her daughter, the bride, is seen trembling and crying from her father’s heartfelt message.
A pool of tears soon filled the room as the father expressed his last parting words.
“But if there ever comes a day when you don’t love her anymore. Please don’t tell her, tell me.”
With that he closed his letter, looked straight into the eyes of the groom and said:
“I will take her home.”
