During a hearing at the Sandigabayan First Division yesterday, June 28, a whistleblower in the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam Marina Sula served as a ray of hope for former Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. This was after she testified that she did not personally see the convicted senator accept “pork barrel” money from Janet Lim-Napoles or any of her employees.
As a matter of record, based on the press release sent to PEP, Sula revealed that it was actually the star witness Benhur Luy who forged Bong Revilla’s signature on the documents.
In addition, she said that she personally saw Benhur Luy affixed his signature on the documents without Bong Revilla’s knowledge.
Moreover, Sula mentioned that former Director Joefferson Toribio of the prosecution panel coached her to corroborate with Benhur Luy’s testimonies.

Under those circumstances, Bong Revilla told the press that he felt vindicated after hearing Sula’s testimony.
“‘Naiiyak at natutuwa po ako ng sabay. After 4 years, 4 long years, this. Today’s revelations only confirm what I have known from the beginning.”
