So, please, Andrew, tell us that this OPM classic isn’t a rip off! On the Internet, netizens have been accusing the celebrity of plagiarizing Cash Money Marvelous‘ “Find An Ugly Woman“, from the title down to its lyrics. For instance, the American song, released in 1988, starts with the lines:
“If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life Man, find an ugly woman, and make her your wife”

While “Humanap Ka Ng Panget”, released just two years after, goes:
“Kung gusto mong lumigaya ang iyong buhay. Humanap ka ng pangit at ibigin mong tunay.”

Andrew has previously said that he wrote the Tagalog rap song while he was lying low from the police.
“At that time, the year was 1990. I was a suspect of a hit and run incident. Wala po akong magawa, kung hindi, magtago. I was hiding. 10 days, I wrote and I [penned] my album for that kind of era. And that was the R-A-P album.”
