The drama that occurred between the Gilas Pilipinas and Australian Boomers basketball teams recently left us all struck dumb. Even celebrities and other sports enthusiasts who have been watching live from their homes were “shookt,” either out of delight or shame. It’s been a long time since a brawl this big involved the Philippines, after all. Not to mention that this is not just some barangay league, but the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifier!
