Sen. Manny Pacquiao says Gilas Pilipinas should apologize

Unnecessary strikes weren’t the only thing unleashed during the salacious – and televised – “basketbrawl,” as varying opinions from celebrities and known athletes about the matter also made the rounds. Many fans agreed with the Gilas Pilipinas players’ decision to engage in a fistfight with the Australia Boomers. However, for boxing-champ-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao, the squabble was unwarranted and the Philippine team should apologize for their behavior.

In an ambush interview, Sen. Manny Pacquiao aired his side about the controversial incident.

The match was held at Philippine Arena on Monday, June 2. Tons of online users and public figures gave their two cents about the squabble. Manny then furthered that the bench players should specially say sorry to their adversary.
