Rising artist Nicole Coson is taking the art world by storm one exhibit at a time.
Nicole is the daughter of Teresita Sy-Coson, one of the most powerful businesswomen in Asia according to Forbes, and the granddaughter of Henry Sy, the # 1 richest man in the Philippines.
But despite her family’s name and legacy, Nicole chose to pave her own path and create a name for herself far from her family’s SM group of companies.
Nicole found her calling in the arts.
She honed her skills then showcased Filipino talent to the world through various shows and exhibits.
The 24 year old artist graduated with first honors in Central Saint Martins in London where she took up Fine Arts.
Since then, she has established a steady and growing career in the field.
Not only does she have her own studio in London, she is also represented by Display Gallery in London where she hosted her first solo show How to Appear Without a Trace in June 2015.
She has solo shows in various parts of Europe as well, like her show at Stamperia Del Tevere in Rome, Italy, and in the Philippines, like her shows at Finale Art File and West Gallery.
Nicole recently showcased new pieces of her works entitled Camouflage at the Silverlens Galleries in Makati last December 2017 where each piece took over a month to create.

Learning does not stop for Nicole as she goes off on her next adventure.
Aside from painting, Nicole is now dabbing in pottery and ceramics and is honing her skills at Jalan Bahar Clay Studios in Singapore.
Nicole is based in London, UK, Manila, Philippines, and now, Singapore as well. We can definitely expect to see more of this extremely talented and fiercely independent budding artist in the coming months.
