Netizens’ hearts all over the country turned all mushy, after watching actress Sarah Lahbati crooning a lullaby to the two-month-old Kai.
As seen on the video clip posted by (gutzfam) Instagram page, the 24-year-old Swiss national was singing a French song entitled “La Vie En Rose” to the attentive infant. Her voice was so soothing that the baby Kai couldn’t help but hum along.

It was late in September when news broke out about Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez’s second pregnancy. According to the actress, the late announcement was due to the baby’s weak heartbeat during the first trimester of her pregnancy. Thankfully, Kai was delivered in perfect health.
With Kai’s wide eyes fixated on Sarah, the short clip already amassed more than 70,000 views a day after posting.

In case you are wondering where Sarah learned to speak French, well, it is simply because she grew up in Geneva, Switzerland wherein the first language is French.
In an interview in “Gandang Gabi Vice” a couple of years ago, Sarah explained that her parents — Filipina and Morrocan — were both working in Switzerland when they met. Because of this, Sarah was born and raised in Geneva. But in 2009, the then 16-year-old tried her luck in the Philippines and joined GMA’s reality talent competition “Starstruck“. After fifteen weeks of competing in the said show, Sarah was named the Ultimate Female Survivor, pocketing a whopping 1.5 million pesos cash prize and an exclusive artist contract with the said network.
