Kapuso child talent Baeby Baste is reportedly confined to the hospital as he battles the dengue virus. This is the reason has not been seen in the last few episodes of “Eat Bulaga.” His family and loved ones are asking his fans for their thoughts and prayers.
Social media users are understandably concerned for the child star, as he has become one of the more popular staples on the long-running noontime variety show.

Baeby Baste’s mother recently posted a photo collage on his Instagram page (iambaebybaste). The collage shows a bedridden Baste and a screenshot with a text message.
The screenshot of the text reads, “38.1 c sam” and it is referring to Baste’s brother.

Before contracting the dengue virus, Baeby Baste was still able to finish taping scenes with Maine Mendoza for “Daig kayo ng Lola Ko.”
Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza’s onscreen partner, has been constantly checking up on Baeby Baste despite being in Japan for work. Alden has also been missing from recent “Eat Bulaga” episodes as well because he is currently working on a project abroad.
Dengue is a very common sickness, especially during the rainy season.
We are all hoping for the speedy recovery of Baeby Baste and his brother Sam. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and their family.
