Young mother narrates about the inspiring story revolving around her miracle child

Most of us think that when an infertile couple receives their miracle child, it’s all rainbows and butterflies. However, they fail to see that there’s suffering beyond the unimaginable blessing. Of course, the reality of life involves overwhelming complications but when you get through it, you’ll have an inspiring story to tell others.

Ashley Zachmeyer thought that she would never become pregnant. She was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome that usually renders a woman infertile.

But to the surprise of Ashley and her husband, something was already brewing inside her womb. They didn’t want to get their hopes up for something that seemed impossible. But something completely changed their minds – a faint heartbeat.

The journey still wasn’t going to be easy but that heartbeat made them want to fight. Ashley was moved to a high-risk specialist whose first opinion was that her miracle child only had a 20% survival rate.

“My heart fell to the floor. I wanted to scream and cry. I asked God, ‘Why would you bless us with this baby girl just to take her away?’ I grew angry. That anger soon turned to determination, I wasn’t giving up.”

And neither did their baby. When the time came for Ashley to give birth, there were still plenty of nerve-wracking moments that followed. But in the end, their beautiful daughter Adalee was welcomed into the world.

Fighting against so many complications, their daughter fought to live. Adalee, who was once 14.5 ounces, gained weight and survived.
