Pamela thought that it was merely an accident. So, she just tried to ignore and avoid it since there was not enough proof to tell her otherwise. But the constant unwanted advances made by this man made the netizen fearful and nervous. She immediately left the local stores after she received everything she bought.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the end of her nightmare. Not too long after leaving the store, Pamela noticed that the suspicious man followed her. Pamela walked as fast she can but as she turned her head, she saw that the culprit was running towards her.
Driven by fear, Pamela was unable to control her speed and found herself stumbling to the ground. The young woman received wounds and scratches but most of all, Pamela was vulnerable. The man tried to take advantage of her but she didn’t stop screaming for help. Fortunately, she was able to kick the man and make a quick escape.

According to Pamela, the aggressor is a tall, thin male, and seems within her age level. Furthermore, this poor victim told that women should not be blamed for the clothes they wear. As a matter of fact, she still experiences unwanted advances even though she wears a school uniform.
The terrifying ordeal took a toll on Pamela as she now finds it hard to sleep at night. She would relive the incident whenever her eyes are close and added that it did inflict mental trauma.
Last 2016, Quezon City passed the first ordinance to press charges on aggressive unwanted advances on the street. Just this July 2018, Manila City Council also passed the similar ordinance. It will sanction forms of these despicable actions such as catcalling, wolf-whistling, leering, and groping.
