“No broken hearts” Callalily surprised four former couples in their recent music video

Always celebrate something that has given you an infinite amount of happiness. Most of us who experienced tragic breakups tend to forget that these people also gave us joy. Yes, the pain can be quite overwhelming but there are times when all we need is a good hug which can allow us to say goodbye. Thankfully, Callalily opted to show such happy endings through their new music video.

Everyone knows that the music we hear nowadays tap into the “hugot” culture of our generation. However, Callalily reinvented this trend by doing a brilliant social experiment involving former couples.

The music video showed four pairs of ex-lovers who had relationships that spanned from three months to almost three years. Kean Cipriano, the lead vocalist, shared that these people were unaware about what they had to face.

“Sabi ko, ‘Medyo mahirap ‘yan,’ kasi sino’ng papayag na gawin ‘to tapos na sa music video? Hindi siya madali.”

But it all turned out great in the end despite the initial awkwardness. Some found the closure they needed while the others looked as if they were great friends. Hugs were exchanged, smiles were shown, and to top it all off, the Callalily song was beyond great.

“Ako, nagulat ako, honestly, noong nakita ko ‘yung result. Ang galing, kasi nag-work siya, and it’s pretty interesting, kasi parang talaga siyang naging social experiment. We’re happy sa naging kinalabasan ng music video.”
