Tattoos are permanent symbols that came from ideas of different cultures all over the world. Although sometimes it signifies a special bond between a person close to our hearts. One actor in the local showbiz who is very interested in this type of body art is Jake Cuenca. He showed off his tattoos and its meaning in the talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda” last October 13, 2018.
According to him, he has 23 tattoos inked on his arms, legs, and other parts of the body. Aside from the artsy side of his permanent inks, the hunk actor shared one of his meaningful tattoos. He shared, “Some of them are souvenirs from project that i’ll never forget,”

Jake revealed he put a tattoo of his ex-girlfriend Roxanne Guinoo’s name in his lower body area. Sorry to say, the two have split ways a long time ago. Although, the actor still kept the tattoo on his body despite their disappointing romantic relationship.
The 30-year-old said as he shared his promise, “Nangako ako eh. hindi ko siya ieerase kung di pa ko kinakasal or nagkaka anak,”
On the other hand, his ex-girlfriend is now living happily as a wedded mother. He told, “Siya ngayon, she is married and has kids so inerase na niya yung kanya,”

In addition, Jake admitted the actress was her first love. They starred as a love team in the television series “Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?” in 2007.
Good thing, the actor remained on good terms with Roxanne in spite of their upsetting break-up way back in 2008.
Jake tattooed his wrist with a famous quotation, “Be water, my friend” an inspirational saying from action star Bruce Lee. It’s a line from Bruce Lee na to adapt in any situation like water,” he pointed out.
He also had a tattoo of a geometric lion, a rose, a red Viva Espana, and a lot more.

When asked if the pain behind his tattoos’ process were worthy, Jake responded, “Masakit but it’s also what’s nice about it.”
