Willie Revillame shows gives Miss Philippines Earth 2018 Celeste Cortesi a brand new cellphone

There are different variety TV shows in the Philippines that give entertainment to the public. These variety TV shows give viewers a chance to watch different singing and dancing performances of celebrities.

While some of these variety TV shows like ABS-CBN’s ASAP and GMA’s former Sunday variety show, SOP, just shows live performances of celebrities and give tribute performances to OPM legends.

On an almost daily basis, except every Sunday, we get to watch shows like It’s Showtime, and Eat Bulaga every lunchtime. These shows are filled with different celebrity hosts.

They also have many segments that give people the opportunity to showcase their talents like Tawag ng Tanghalan for It’s Showtime and Miss Millennial Philippines 2018 for Eat Bulaga.

In Eat Bulaga, one of their most famous segments is still on-air, Juan For All, All for Juan. This segment of the shows gives people money and many other freebies that they could instantly win.

Of course, the man who carried this show is comedian, actor, TV host, and businessman, Willie Revillame.

Born Wilfredo Revillame, Willie was a professional drummer before he entered show business. Willie’s first showbiz appearance in GMA’s 1980s show, Lunch Date, with Randy Santiago. He then started appearing in movies and played minor roles.

Willie became part of Magandang Tanghali Bayan, where he was a regular host. Eventually, Willie hosted his own noontime variety show, Wowowee, which premiered in 2005.

Here, he earned the nickname Kuya Wil and is still known for giving out jackets to his studio audience which even became a meme. He also released songs like Boom Tarat Tarat, Ikaw Na Nga, Beep Beep Beep Ang Sabi Ng Jeep, and many other more.

He also has Christmas versions of his songs and original Filipino Christmas songs like Araw Araw Ay Pasko and Namamasko Po.

The people and his fans love Kuya Wil so much because of his generosity. He gives out money and other freebies to people on and off camera. In his current show, Wowowin, Miss Philippines Earth 2018, Silvia Celeste Cortesi got surprised when Willie gave her a brand new expensive cellphone.

Celeste became a guest host in Wowowin for a while and people noticed how happy Willie is around her.

People who are part of Willie’s staff said that Kuya Wil’s generosity towards Celeste is just normal.

Willie is planning to reformat Wowowin this coming year and he is planning on getting Celeste as one of his co-hosts.

The 20-year-old Filipina-Italian beauty queen will be representing the Philippines on November 3, 2018, at the Miss Earth beauty pageant which will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
